After a two-year hiatus, Toundra returns to the stage in 2025. The Madrid-based group formed in 2007 and quickly climbed the ranks to become one of Europe’s most respected instrumental rock bands. They are known for a sound that balances heavy riffs with intricate melodies, creating an atmosphere that works just as well on a record as it does in a loud, crowded venue.
The band spent their early years touring Europe and releasing three albums independently before signing with Century Media in 2014. Their breakthrough record, IV (2015), debuted at #2 on the Spanish charts and led to an international tour of more than 150 shows. Since then, they have maintained their momentum with releases like Vortex and the 2022 album Hex, which reached #1 on Spain’s vinyl charts.
A new, self-released album is scheduled for 2026. This upcoming work promises to explore fresh sonic territory while keeping the trademark intensity that fans expect.
