MONKEY 3

The band was created in 2001 and was already taking this stoner-rock and psyché vibe, which can remind you Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Mono or Pelican. With their first self-intituled album, which was released in 2003, Monkey3 got great reactions and reviews all over Europe, putting them as one of the best newcomer in this musical stoner field. Their second album, «39 Laps», which cames out in 2007, contains a magistral cover from one of the biggest cinema classic «Once Upon A Time In The West», from the Master Ennio Morricone. The third album : «Undercover» is an EP featuring covers (Archive, Kiss, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple) which has an outstanding character and contains two songs with two awesome singers: the Legend himself, John Garcia (Kyuss, Hermano) and Tony Jelencovich (Transport League, M.A.N.) ! Thanks to this new album, the band hit the European roads (France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland) from October 16th until November 7th 2009. Monkey 3 also released their first live-DVD, «Live At Aventicum», recorded during their Rock Oz'Arènes 2007 live appareance.

Monkey3 already have a selectif and loyal public. The band builded through the years a solid live reputation, with the quality and the originality of their lives performances. Monkey3 is back on track, stronger than ever !!!

GLOWSUN

Hailing from Lille in the North of France, the Glowsun story starts in 1997 with the ‘first edition' of the band featuring Johan Jaccob (not only Glowsun's guitarist & vocalist, but also a very talented poster designer). Musicians come and go until Fabrice Cornille (drums) and Ronan Chiron (bass), both ex-Attack Of The Mutant Camels, join in. In 2005 the first ep "Lost Love" is recorded and released. It became the start of international press features and numerous gigs. Glowsun played festivals in Belgium and shared stages with bands like Hypnos 69, My Sleeping Karma (Yellowstock), Dozer (Buzzfest), in France with Nashville Pussy (Rock En Stock), and Switzerland (Underground Festival).

In the beginning of 2008, the band has already spent a long time recording and mastering of what would become their first full album. The lyrics are about man's large unsuitability for his own environment. "The Sundering" was mastered by Göran Finnberg (Spiritual Beggars, Generous Maria, Opeth, In Flames,...) at the Mastering Room in Gothenburg, Sweden.

In march 2009 « The Sundering » is Record of the month in the french mag « Hard Rock Mag ». During this 2 last years, Glowsun shared stages With Karma to Burn, Brant Bjork & the Bros , Yawning Man…

GRANDLOOM

In kürzester Zeit schaffte es GRANDLOOM in der Cottbuser Musikszene zur einer festen Größe zu werden. Ihr Markenzeichen, die langen Jam Parts, beschert ihnen einen stetig wachsenden Fankreis von Stoner und Psychedelic Rock Fans, die sie auch bei Auftritten wie z.B. in Berlin, Dresden oder Leipzig begleiten. Sie über- zeugten bereits als Vorband für Brant Bjork and the Bros, My Sleeping Karma, Gorilla Monsoon oder auch für Karma to Burn.

Der Stil von GRANDLOOM ist durch Elemente des Stoner-, Heavy-, Psychedelic- Rocks geprägt. Aber auch Blues und Rockmusik der 60er/70er dient immer wieder für Inspiration. Alle diese Stile und die einzelnen musikalischen Fähigkeiten der drei Jungs in einen Topf geworfen, einmal kräftig umrühren und heraus kommt der unvergleichbare „Electrical Rock Between Evil & Peace“ Sound Von GRANDLOOM.
