The concept, called UP IN SMOKE Roadfestival, is a tribute to the clouds of blue smoke which wave around the dances and trances of music lovers in the world!

Each time, for each volume, we will offer you a well suiting band package and get them to hit the European roads to meet their fans and rock the crowds with psychedelic, doom, heavy rock and experimental riffs. 
Get ready to rock with already known artists, as well as to open up your ears to the sound of tomorrow with some new-comers in the scene!

My Sleeping Karma Sometimes one creates a dynamic impression by saying something, and sometimes one creates a significant impression by remaining silent.

My Sleeping Karma combines the organic aspect of psychedelic groove rock with emotional shades of aphasian landscapes. That was the inTention of the debut album and it still remains. Guitar, bass and drums in love with a soundboard. My Sleeping Karma's album "Satya" released september 20th on Elektrohasch Records. And time is the major keyword in the context of "Satya". Lonely Kamel Blues, grooves and a bottle of booze! Inspired by the heavy blues 68-72, this hard hitting band from Oslo, Norway is producing classic hard rock, stonerrock with a lot of blues. Mix it up with 2 spoonfuls of doom and psychedelia and you got Lonely Kamel, playing a great sound that can be located right between 7 ZUMA 7, CANDYBAR PLANET and COUNCIL. more infos

The Machine is a three-piece psychedelic stoner rock band, together since somewhere 2007. In the last four years, they released three full length albums. Their latest effort, Drie (2010), was released at the German recordlabel Elektrohasch Records.

The live shows are loud, intense and from the heart with room for improvisation. Because of this, incense and the often present psychedelic projections, The Machine is referring to the vibe of the late 60’s. But let there be no mistake: the band is definitely a product of its own time.

Besides playing numerous clubshows, The Machine also appeared on the bill at a couple of important festivals, one of them being Roadburn (2010 & 2011).

Samsara Blues Experiment

the term Samsara is derived from "to flow together," to go or pass through states, to wander. Mostly a great revolving door between life and death and a new life reincarnated cycle of life.These KRAUTs know how to ROCK and mesmerize.

SAMSARA BLUES EXPERIMENT are a Berlin based band, founded in Summer 2007 by leadguitarist/singer Christian Peters. They went through several changes in the first period but are in constant line-up since September 2008 featuring Hans Eiselt (guitar), drummer Thomas Vedder and Richard Behrens (bass). As the band name implies three elemental aspects are to notice - the blues as the fundament where it all comes from, the inclusion of spiritual influences accompanied by Indian/raga music and the experimental approach to mix up varied elements in a convincing manner.

The band's songs are dominated by a playful dual guitar work as well as a passionate blend of heavy psych, stoner and space rock. This is provided with several nuances and transitions in between - quite retro styled, jamming, even sometimes worked out with a repetitive hypnotic touch in the tradition of krautrock. The band produced two appetizer EP's and intensively toured Europe as well as the US-Westcoast in order to reach for the appropriate condition to record a full album.
