The band hailing from Lausanne, Switzerland, just released their first live-DVD, «Live At Aventicum», recorded during their Rock Oz'Arènes 2007 live appareance. The images and the sound quality will bring you in a real introspection in the heart of their stoner-rock universe, with some psyché parts which are going to send you straight to a magic and delicious musical trip. «Live At Aventicum» is a faithful evidence about the impressive quality of the band on stage!

MONKEY3 will release a rare and unique jewel for their fans; «Undercover» is a mini cover album (Archive, Kiss, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple) which have an outstanding character and contains two songs with two awesome singers: the Legend himself, John Garcia (Kyuss, Hermano) and Tony Jelencovich (Transport League, M.A.N.) !

The band is ready to hit the European roads again soon – they're going to play a European Tour (France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland) from October 16th until November 7th.

The band was created in 2001 and was already taking this stoner-rock and psyché vibe, which can remind you Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Mono or Pelican.

With their first self-intituled album, which cames out in 2003, Monkey3 get great reactions and reviews all over Europe, putting them as one of the best newcomer in this musical stoner field. Monkey3 didn't stop on their way to the success and back in 2004 and 2005, the band was hitting the road beside bands as Alabama Thunderpussy, Mono, Nine Inch Nails, Colour Haze, Dozer, Ozric Tentacles... to name a few ones. Their second album, «39 Laps», which cames out in 2007, contains a magistral cover from one of the biggest cinema classic «Oncee Upon A Time In The West», from the Master Ennio Morricone. This same year, the band was asking to play at the mighty Roadburn Festival in Netherlands, beside bands as Neurosis and the Melvins. Monkey3 was considered as well as one of the best newcomer band.

Monkey3 already have a really good international impact and a selectif and loyal public. The band builded through the years a solid live reputation, with the quality and the originality of their lives performances. Monkey3 is back on track, stronger than ever !!!
